Wafflart Antoniolli Champagne Blanc de Blancs, 1er Cru, Sacy NV

100% Chardonnay from the tiny 1er Cru hamlet of Sacy, just southwest of Riems. Thierry Wafflart, President of the village co-op, also makes his own champagnes at his family's small domaine. Very little of this wine is exported. Fleshy and rich, taste ripe apple, pineapple, nectarine and passionfruit, with crisp acid and a long, luxurious finish.
