Vigne Sannite Falanghina del Sannio 2017

Sannio is a region inland from Napoli in Campania, and the major grape is Falanghina, a quality variety that perhaps goes back to Roman times. The wine has aromas of roasted almonds and is nicely fruity – melon, pineapple, and banana – with the high, crisp acidity balanced by a gently creamy, weighty mouthfeel. Perfectly refreshing.
