Vermillion Red Wine California 2018

A blend of undisclosed percentages of Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Petite Sirah, and Counoise. With fruit coming from Sonoma and Sierra Foothills, this is Helen Keplinger’s “second label” and the vivid Vermillion package is reflected in the wine with ripe figs, raspberries, plums, blackberries, and black cherries, with a peppery, earthy smokiness and sweet spice, cinnamon notes.
