This Lambrusco is the real deal.  A single variety of Salamino grapes grown on clay-sandy soils.  Cranberry, blackberry, and mulberry with heavy doses of herbs frame the secondary notes of subtle pie crust, violets, and roses.  Medium weight while somehow avoiding the overly grapey characteristics of Lambrusco; showing off racy acidity and grip rarely found in the region. This is as serious as Lambrusco gets.
