Unturned Stone Spider Chase Red Blend Sonoma Coast 2016

A field-blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec from Fort Ross-Seaview (Waterhorse Ridge). Extremely uncommon to find Bordeaux varietals on the Sonoma Coast, but these sit above the fog-line. Flavors of black olive, tobacco and cassis follow a nose with herbal notes, black cherry and a hint of pencil lead. The wine is medium-bodied and sits nicely on the palette with plenty of texture, pleasant acidity and soft tannins.
