Uccelliera "Rapace" Toscana IGT 2014

70% Sangiovese, 20% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon planted just south-east of Montalcino at 150-350m. Despite the Cab/Merlot presence, this is a very Italian wine in its style, aromas, and structure. Concentrated, serious aromas of red fruits, earth, game, and spice on the nose are followed by vibrant acidity and a firm tannic grip. A long, serious finish completes the balance between fruit, oak, acidity, and tannins.
