Tyrrell’s Hunter Valley Semillon Australia 2023

This entry level Semillon is sourced from top vineyards around Hunter Valley, with the vines having an average age of 40 years. The quality, cost and characteristics of this wine just don’t add up in the real world. It’s 11% ABV with creamy aromas of white fruits, tart pears, green apples, and key lime pie crust. Huge acidity with lighter orange zest citrus, cream of tartar, white flowers and an herbal tarragon note. All this  adds up to under $25.
