Tyler Winery Pinot Noir Santa Barbara 2018

The fruit for the Santa Barbara Pinot Noir is sourced from two vineyards; the 45+ year old Bien Nacido and Dierberg Drum Canyon. It is then destemmed and fermented with native yeast. Twelve months of neutral oak helps to preserve the fresh fruit characteristics. The wine is young and vivacious with bing cherry, ripe strawberry, rose petal and mouthwatering acidity, but there is also a savory quality of leather, oyster mushrooms and pu-erh tea.
