50% Sémillon, 45% Sauvignon Blanc, 5% Muscadelle. Bergerac is inland from Bordeaux, and produces similar wines at a much better price. This white blend receives 48 hours skin contact before being aged on its lees for 8 months. Lemon, grapefruit, and asparagus aromas from the Sauvignon, wax, earth, and weight from the Sémillon, cream, toast, biscuit, and spice from the lees. Rich and fresh at the same time, this is very food friendly – drink with creamy white meat dishes.
