Torre Zambra "Madia" Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 2016

We’ve got a lot of time for Torre Zambra, a producer taking the Montepulciano grape as seriously as it deserves and making us rethink the DOC. This is their most approachable wine, fresh and fruity with aromas of cherries, raspberries, and plums as well as clove, nutmeg, pepper, and tarragon, followed by a dry, grippy palate and lively acidity. Fun, easy drinking, and a great food wine.
