Winemakers notes: Destemmed, stainless tank fermented with gentle pumpovers twice daily, indigenous primary & secondary fermentations. Rich ruby red in color. Pretty, floral notes of rose & gardenia, ripe blackberry, orange pekoe tea, and mint. Subtle background notes of baked berry pie and sassafras. Medium bodied flavors of ripe plum and raspberry framed with velvety tannins. Finishes long with hints of tea and baker’s chocolate. 12 barrels made.
