Thierry Merlin-Cherrier Sancerre 2019 375 ml

Thierry Merlin made his first vintage of wine in 1982, so it safe to say he has the experience to make exceptional Sancerre. The intimate knowledge of his families’ vineyards create a wine which beautifully reflects the Caillottes, small limestone pebbles mixed with clay and dating from the Kimmeridgian era.  Green apples, pears, wildflowers and rich citrus. Medium weight on the palate, with the vineyard’s minerals proving to be the highlight of the long, dry finish.
