Theopetra Estate Limniona Meteora PGI 2015

From a vineyard planted at the foot of a disused monastery which contains the only plantings in the world of Limniona. We imagine plantings will become more widespread as this is a phenomenal wine. Reminiscent of Nebbiolo, but darker, deeper, and richer, with aromas of red fruits, leather, spices, tobacco, and dried fruits given weight and life by the drying tannins and high acidity. The finish is long and generous. Masterly.
