The Crane Assembly "Disciples" Napa Valley Red Wine 2017

The Disciples project – so called for a series of vineyards that are “disciples” to the historic G.B. Crane site – continues to evolve with the addition of Charbono (13%) and Grenache (6%) to the blend. Charbono adds a soft, chocolate texture to the wine, the Grenache some spice and raspberry aromas. The main grape is Zinfandel, for substantial blueberry, strawberry, floral aromas, with a little bit of Petite Sirah (5%) adding beef and tannin. Creamy, round, and very tempting.
