Dr. H. Thanisch - Erben Thanisch estate can be traced back to 1636 making a variety of Riesling over the centuries. This trocken style is fresh with a gunflint minerality, squeaky clean lemon/lime, pear and herbs. A lightly detectable amount of RS pushes the limits of the trocken designation, giving the acidity a firm base to hold on to. A very versatile dry Riesling with the Mosel’s classic wet slate aromas, expressive fruit and striking acidity.
