Terre Nere Etna Rosso 2017

From the hillsides of Mount Etna in Sicily, made mostly from the Nerello Mascalese grape and aged in neutral oak aged. A very inviting nose of wild raspberry and cherry, rose petals, thyme, tea leaves, and light spice. The engaging fruit aromas are backed up by a fine tannic structure that has a lasting drying grip. Intense and concentrated, this wine is generous now but has the structure and complexity to last another five years at least.
