60% Carricante, 25% Cataratto, 10% Grecanico (the same grape as Garganega), 5% Minella. From local grapes planted on volcanic soils at high altitude, Etna wine is very much its own thing – and extremely good. Aromas of lemons, grapefruit, and peach together with attractive jasmine, floral notes, followed by a mineral, nutty texture and high, almost tart acidity. Refreshing, complex, and rewarding.
