Tenuta delle Terre Nere Etna Rosso 2015

From the hillsides of Mount Etna in Sicily. Made mostly from the Nerello Mascalese grape. Neutral oak aged. Strong Pinot Noir-like nose of wild cherry, dry herbs and light spice. Taste moves into more raspberry and red currants with more savory flavors of thyme, rosemary and tea leaves. Generous fruit, fine & firm tannins. Dishes with a little fat (meats or olive oil) soften the tannins and make the wine shine.
