Tarlant “Zero” Brut Nature Champagne NV

Grower Champagnes are all the rage these days, with small houses keeping their grapes for personal labels, but few (10) had the balls to do it when Tarlant did back in 1920’s. Zero dosage is also cool now? Guess who has been producing 90% of their Champagnes in that manner since the 1970’s?  The base vintage is 2014, showing full brioche and medium toast, Meyer Lemon marmalade and stone fruit tarts. The real surprise is the incredibly creamy palate with a delicate mousse that is wiped clean by zesty acidity.
