The Taplin family has been in Napa Valley since the 1870's. Single vineyard estate Cab from Sulphur Springs Road, Mayacamas Bench, (SW corner of St Helena AVA). Rich, decadent and nuanced. Taste black currant, blackberry, kirsch, bourbon, amaro, eucalyptus, pipe tobacco. Hint of orange peel and mint on the very long finish. Exceptionally smooth and ready to enjoy. 350 cases made.
