Sylvain Faudot Arbois Cuvee Saint Antoine Jura 2018

A very classic blend 50% Chardonnay and 50% Sauvignin, there is no mistaking the oxidative qualities of this wine, but they are in perfect unison with the fresher aromatics of the whole. The color of the wine hints at its Sherry qualities with aromatics of bitter apricot, peach, tamarind and orange zest, and yes, a beautiful, blanched almond and Marcona almond nuttiness. The Chardonnay barrel are topped off while the Sauvignin is allowed to develop flor.
