60% Syrah, 30% Grenache, 5% Sangiovese and 5% Mourvèdre. A stunningly great value and very tasty blend from Santa Barbara. Sixty-seven percent of the grapes are destemmed while 20% are left whole cluster, leading to a fresh, smooth, invitingly fruity nose with aromas of red cherry, blackberry, and cooked plum as well as roses and violets. The palate has a lightly gripping texture and a subtly spicy finish. A food-friendly wine that’s very hard to resist.
