70% Syrah, 15% Sangiovese, 15% Grenache. Stunningly great value and very tasty blend from Ballard Canyon in Santa Barbara. 20% whole cluster fermentation leads to a fresh, smooth, invitingly fruity nose with aromas of red cherry, blackberry, and cooked plum as well as roses and violets. The palate has a lightly gripping texture and a subtly spicy finish. A food-friendly wine that’s very hard to resist.
