St. Helena Winery "Sympa" Napa Valley 2012

Lindsey Wallingham makes the wine with the help of Aaron Pott, and she also manages the estate vineyard by Napa river in St. Helena which the fruit for this wine comes from. This is a structured, concentrated, balanced wine that has nice ripe black fruits, herbal overtones, and an oaky pepperiness. Very smooth fruits and a ripe tannic structure on the palate, with an overall great mouthfeel.
