Located at 1,900ft/580m on Howell Mountain way above the fog line, this 2013 Cabernet is everything you’d expect from the AVA. Firm, tannic, restrained, and complex, with notable briary, black olives aromas, as well as coffee and tobacco. A serious wine whose black fruit aromas will slowly evolve and open with time. Decant now or wait another ten years.
