Solar Fortun "O Positivo" Vino Tinto, Valle de Guadalupe, Ensenada, Mexico 2014

Vineyard and winery are in Baja California's Valle de Guadalupe. 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Syrah. Called "O Positive" because it's dark as blood. Deep berry flavors with allspice, tobacco, lavender and ancho chile smells and flavors. Healthy acidity lifts the wine's flavors, fine tannins give it structure. Drink this with leg of lamb and garlic sausages.
