Estate Cab from the St. Helena bench. Intense flavors of cassis, blackberry liqueur, mocha, hazelnut, almond and tobacco. Cloves and cinnamon emerge on the long (20+ seconds) finish. Smooth tannins make this an easy recommendation for drinking tonight, but we think this will age gracefully for another 10 years. The proverbial "iron fist in a velvet glove."
