Shane Pinot Noir "The Charm" Russian River Valley 2014

The Charm is not a vineyard, but a proprietary name for this bottling. I suspect the vineyards are in the warmer parts of Russian River as the wine is quite ripe and lush. Nose of black cherry jam, Christmas spices, toasty oak and red rose petals. Ripe, sweet dark cherries and raspberries coat the palate with vanilla, cinnamon and anise chiming in. Has broad appeal. Good choice if you want a Pinot Noir to pair with red meats and/or please a larger group of red wine lovers. 425 cases made.
