Serge Dagueneau Chasselas "La Centenaire" Pouilly-sur-Loire 2014

SKU
1936
Chasselas grape, over 100 year old vines (120 years old now, we are told). From Pouilly-Fume, but not Sauvignon Blanc, so it takes the village name, Pouilly-sur-Loire. Drinking this is a little like licking lemon skin and chalky rock. Smell & taste citrus zest, white flowers, sea air, green apple peelings, chalk.
