Senses "Tierra de Promisio" Pinot Noir Petaluma Gap 2018

The grapes are harvested from the Petaluma Gap with the wine showing a Gevrey-like nose of earth, dark fruits, and mushroom.   An underlying meatiness makes this a California surprise, aromas of plum, blackberry, blueberry, purple carrot juice, and Asian spices.  This is a big wine with the structure to support a myriad of flavors and textures.  This wine is more Burgundian than many of the Burgundies we have been tasting.
