Senses "Tenth Stop" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay 2016

Beautiful Chardonnay from up-and-coming Senses, a collaboration between three Sonoma friends. They grew up in Occidental, which was the tenth stop on the North Pacific Coast Railroad. Mainly from the cool Dutton Palms vineyard with a little bit of Thieriot, this has a rich, forward nose of smoke, peach, apricot, cream, and yogurt lifted by lively acidity on the spicy, slightly herbal palate with a zippy finish.
