Selene Cabernet Franc Chesler 2014

78% Cabernet Franc, 22% Merlot, all from "Frediani Vineyard" in Calistoga. Mia Klein, winemaker. Excellent example of a modern Napa Cab Franc/Right Bank blend. Ripe black cherries and black berries with just a hint of the green pepper that distinguishes Cab Franc. Smooth tannins. A vein of minerality holds it together. Very satisfying.
