Second Line Wines Red Wine Napa 2021

A Grenache heavy blend with an addition of 15% Syrah, the Grenache comes from the Paras Vineyard on Mount Veeder providing concentrated, yet light red fruit aromas and flavors, while the Syrah from the Cortese Vineyard in Coombsville contributes a firm backbone and a meaty quality. Red cherries, red apples, strawberries and dried roses.  A wonderful lightness makes this an easy, yet thoughtful alternative to Napa’s abundance of Cabernets.
