Up Spring Mountain Rd out of St Helena, at Langtry Road, is School House Vineyard. Planted in 1953 by owner John Gantner. DRC cuttings, dry farmed. 1 ton/acre, grapes destemmed, open top ferment, all new French oak. Sweet core of dark cherry fruit, pie spices, kirsch, cola, dry aged beef, black tea. Drinking very nicely now. 450 cases made.
