Schofftit Gewurztraminer Cuvee Carine Alsace 2017

Four generations of Schoffits have been tending to the ruggedly steep hillsides in Colmar. The grapes are hand-picked, then fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks to highlight the terroir of the soil and climate. Less floral and more terroir driven to provide aromas of gun flint, orange peel, apples, honey, and pears. An off-dry wine that has sub 4g/l acidity to make this a perfect pair with complex spiced dishes.
