Schloss Lieser Riesling Spatlese Niederberg Helden 2016

From crazy steep slopes on the banks of the Mosel, Niederberg Helden was a rundown vineyard that’s been resurrected by Thomas Haag. He’s established himself as one of the Mosel’s finest winemakers and here’s evidence why. For this late-harvest Riesling, it’s all about balance: sugar is 75g/L, but you would never guess it as it’s gracefully balanced by acidity – TA is 8.9g/L. Rich and full, with lush fruits of peach, apricot, passion fruit, and kiwi. Spätlese at its most complete.
