Produced from vineyards located in and around the village of Piesport, the single vineyard Piesporter Goldtröpfchen, gets its name from the tiny gold droplets that glean from botrytized grapes. The feinherb indicates an elevated level of sweetness, yet the aromas show more crushed oyster shell, oceanic sea breeze, pear, melon, and peaches. The intensity of the minerals pair nicely with the richness of the wine.
