Schiopetto Ribolla Gialla Venezia Giulia 2021

It still amazes us how this wine can deliver so much for so little money.  More than a crisp and minerally white, extended lees contact comes across as creamy, but the acid pushes right through to provide intensity and depth.  Small amounts of oceanic acidity pairs with orange zest, lemon pith and lemon grass. The wine shows hints of traditional Friuli-Venzia Giulia winemaking techniques while being modern and clean.
