Scarlett Zinfandel Rutherford Napa Valley 2019

Sourced from the estate vineyards in Rutherford, this Zinfandel is covered in what is affectionately called “Rutherford dust”, a distinct trait common to grapes from the appellation. The fruits have an underlying level of cocoa powder, adding a creaminess to the plums, blackberries and mulberries. Really pretty aromas of violets and lavender are outdoor fresh, with a chewy core of rich and silky tannins. Such a well-balanced wine from one of Napa’s most recognized AVA’s.
