Scarlett Petite Sirah Rutherford Napa Valley 2021

The Petite Sirah plantings are fairly new to the McGah Family Estate in the heart of Rutherford. The prestigious Napa AVA allows the fruit to ripen at a consistent pace, yielding a wine black in color and never lacking in power. Plums, blackberries, blueberries and cigar box. The 18 months of age in French oak is apparent, both softening the tannins and applying a rich vanilla note to the dark fruits. An extremely concentrated wine, ready to take on the hardiest of foods.
