Scalon Cellars "Priority" Red Wine Napa Valley 2014

60% Cabernet Sauvignon, with 27% Petit Verdot and 13% Petite Sirah to give the wine extra weight and body. A very inviting, fruity nose of blackcurrant, blackberry, and black cherry, with coffee, smoke, and vanilla coming from the well-integrated oak. Wonderfully smooth and ripe on the plush, round palate. This is a full, intense wine but also fun, approachable, and engaging. Winemaker: Julien Fayard.
