Saint Georgina “Avenali Vineyard” Viognier Rutherford Napa 2025

A small production of Viognier that is grown in a residence’s back yard, where they mostly grow Cabernet, but they love Viognier, so they insist it stays. Viognier can get bombastic when it hits elevated levels of ripeness, but the Saint Georgina keeps the ABV lower and the aromatics balanced. The nose is soft, almost shy in a way, with a touch of oak, subtle vanilla cream pie, white flowers and crisp acidity that invites you in for the next sip. Only 50 cases made.
