Roland Lavantureux Chablis Beauroy Premier Cru 2017

This is a showstopping Chablis. Roland Lavantureux founded the domaine in the 1970s, and his two sons have continued the commitment to quality and a nervy style. The wine is aged in 50% stainless steel and 50% oak – 20% of it new, giving some richness and a round, creamy mouthfeel which is perfectly balanced by crisp acidity and a real concentrated structure. This is a wine with tension and depth, power and subtlety, roundness and precision.
