Nebbiolo: the great grape of Piedmont, Italy. Rarely grown in California. This vineyard is at 3000 feet elevation above Placerville (on the way to Tahoe). While it has Nebbiolo smells & flavors of tar, roses and black tea, it's not be confused with Italian Neb. It's full of ripe berries with light spice and fine tannins. Delicious now. All neutral oak aged. 65 cases made
