“LA MADRONE”
Roche Paradis is a fairly new winery started in 2012 by vigneron Yann Menager, an Yves Cuilleron protgée, who decided it was time to acquire vineyards. The La Madone vineyard was planted to granite soils in the 1950’s. Classic, textbook St. Joseph with dark, rich, velvety fruit with power, grace and finesse. Bitter chocolate, vanilla, sweet cigar, cedar box, smoky meats and plums. The tannins are balanced and drying.
