Fiano, the pre-eminent white grape of Campania, sports classic tangy character of Italian white wine that makes it perfect as a starter wine. Smell and taste fresh lemon/lime, roasted hazelnuts (esp on the nose), fresh soda biscuits and Macintosh apples. Has a big, pleasing POW of acidity that smacks the palate and lasts through the 20 second finish.
