Robert Moncuit Le Mesnil "Perpetuelle Reserve" Extra Brut NV

Fantastic grower-producer based in Le Mesnil. Making some of the Grand Cru village’s best wine, Robert Moncuit is a name to look out for as it’s relatively new to the US. The Extra Brut spans six different vintages from 2006 to 2012 which are expertly integrated, producing a wonderful complexity. Dosage is just 3g/L – no need for more sugar as the champagne has enough yeasty creaminess to give a rich texture naturally balancing the racy acidity.
