The Rosella’s Vineyard Pinot Noir is big, plush and ripe. The ripeness, while extracted, does not come across as fruity, instead showing what Santa Lucia Highlands is famous for. Savory, with mushrooms, plums, cherries, herbs, earth and a smoky note in the in the background. A streak of herbs provides a wild fruit essence with a moderate amount of oak providing creaminess and vanilla.
