Rivers-Marie Chardonnay "Platt" Sonoma Coast 2017

Joint project between Thomas Rivers Brown and his partner Genevieve Marie Welsh for a very sophisticated Chardonnay. The fruit comes from the quality Platt Vineyard, in the hills west of Sebastopol. The nose is rich, with aromas of stone and tropical fruits, oak, and malolactic fermentation, giving way to a leaner palate that has vibrant acidity and a grainy, spicy structure. A serious, concentrated expression of California Chardonnay.
