Rivers-Marie Pinot Noir "Silver Eagle Vineyard" Sonoma Coast 2016

Classy single-vineyard Pinot coming from the rolling hills east of Occidental, this wine has so much depth and concentration, giving extra power to Pinot Noir’s natural complexity. There’s a dark core of ripe red plum, black cherries, and an essential earthy richness overladen with roses, violets, tarragon, clove, nutmeg, and black pepper. This is a serious, sophisticated Pinot which has another ten years of development in it at least.
